December Book Club Titles

 We've got copies of December's titles for all of our book clubs at the Georgetown Library!  The Family Book Club, for ages 9-12 plus parents, will be meeting on December 10, and will discuss Rick Riordan's 39 Clues: Maze of Bones. Our Adult Book Club will discuss Dave Egger's newest work, Zeitoun, on Thursday, December 17.

Movie Matinee

Don't know what to do with your Thanksgiving holiday?  Come to the Georgetown Interim Library on Friday, November 27 at 2 p.m. to watch Pixar's 2009 movie "Up" about a 78-year old man who decides to fulfill his lifelong dream of visiting South America.  Little does he know that he has a much younger stowaway!  We'll have popcorn and juice, so bring your whole family!

WrestleMania Reading Challenge!

Teens, come to the Georgetown Interim Library to sign up for American Library Association's WrestleMania Reading Challenge!  Participants can win a trip to WrestleMania 26 in Phoenix in March 2010.

Family Chess Club

Thanks to a generous donation from HSBC bank, the Georgetown Interim Library is pleased to offer chess lessons for children and families every Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m.  Ages 4 and up are welcome to come in and play with us!
