What I do when I'm not at the library:  When I'm not at the library, I'm probably at a museum, a performance, a rehearsal or a farmer's market.

The best book of all time: The best book I've ever read is Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman.

The worst book I've ever read: Bouquets for Brimbal by J. P. Reading. The highlight of this turkey YA novel is learning how the narrator of the story, Macy Bacon, received her name.  [Macy's mother was in the flagship Macy's store in Manhattan when she felt the fetal Macy's first kick.]  This tidbit is revealed in the first few chapters of the book, and it's all downhill from there.

My favorite 5 books: Genres:
  • LGBTQhealth, relationships, history
  • Self-Help-organizational behavior, life design, leadership
  • Music-opera, singing
  • History-post World War II American and European history
  • Cooking and Baking-food and culture, breads and desserts, wine and cheese
