Art Exhibit and Reception

Come view the photography of local artist Dee Ferguson. Dee's photographs are from her world travels. Photographs can be viewed on the 2nd level of the library. Meet the artist reception will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2pm. Light Refreshments will be served.

The Teen Techno Challenge

Monday, August 16, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Even if there is no upgrade or resale market, there's no need for junk to sit in the back of the closet unused.  This mixed media art class/workshop alters the appearance and function of old stuff.  Techniques include gluing, bolting, painting and cutting.  The materials include soda cans, screws, buttons, bottle caps, old CD's, scraps of trim, fabric, etc.
