Take a look, it's in a book.

What I do when I'm not at the library: I like to walk around D.C. This city has so many trees! And old buildings! And great people watching. I also like gathering with friends, going to the movies and helping my cat with his memoir. I read every night before going to sleep.

My Passion: We all have a story to tell. My passion is working with special collections to make them findable and accessible. We are more alike than different. Having access to collections from the past help us understand our shared attributes like love, pain and perseverance.

Something unique about me: Growing up my family was guardian to a 3-legged miniature schnauzer named Chuck.

If I wrote an autobiography, its title would be: Your Seat Back Isn't Jammed, Those Are My Knees: My Journey as a Tall Woman

The last thing that I read: Cry, the Beloved Country

The best book of ALL Time: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

What I'm reading now: Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

The worst book I've ever read: Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad
