Join us for skill assessments for adults who need a high school diploma (GED or National External Diploma) and tutoring for those with skills at the high school level.  Assessments take place on Saturday mornings only, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tutoring takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Please note: In order to qualify for tutoring, you must take the assessment first. Saturday Technology Training Sessions (STTS) meet every other Saturday, with some exceptions, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cleveland Park Library in the upstairs conference room. PowerPoint I Basics

In this two hour class, you will learn the basic features for creating a dynamic PowerPoint (slide show) presentation in MS PowerPoint 2016. This software is widely used in the workplace and in educational settings.  Seats are limited to 12 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing Clinic

Learn to use your cell phone with accessibility. Tech Talk Tuesday is a drop-in clinic where you can meet with staff or volunteer trainers for help with iPhone or Android devices and accessibility. Short curricula on iPhone and Android accessibility are available. Drop-in Clinic is every Tuesday night, 6 -  7:30 p.m. at Library Express, 1990 K Street NW (Entrance on 20th St).

Chamber Music at Noon

On the first Thursday of each month, the DC Public Library, in partnership with the Goethe-Institut of Washington, presents a chamber music series (formerly titled the Brown Bag Chamber Recital), free and open to the public. Performers include internationally known, local musicians Ralitza Patcheva and Vasily Popov, as well as special-guest performers.
