Emancipation Day Hours

A neighborhood library will be open in each ward on Tuesday, Apr. 16 in observance of Emancipation Day. Neighborhood libraries will be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library will be open from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Mt. Pleasant Library, a beautiful, historic Carnegie building dedicated in 1925 and renovated in 2012, offers programs, services, and collections to the vibrant and diverse Ward 1 community.
