Score Collection & Music Resources at DC Public Library

DC Public Library circulates an extensive collection of music scores for library users: piano music, popular and classical vocal music, solo and ensemble instrumental music, fakebooks, instructional method books, full orchestra, ballet and opera scores, miniature study scores, and more!

To checkout materials from this collection, place a hold through our online catalog - browsing in person is not currently available. When searching the catalog for scores, filter the "Material Type" by "Score - Printed Music." If you have questions, or are unable to find what you are looking for, please email the Adult Services Department at the MLK Jr. Memorial Library, or use the online chat function Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm.

As a DC Public Library card holder, you also have access to Alexander Street Digital Collections, which include streaming music with extensive liner notes, recordings of live performances, digital sheet music, eBooks and images.
