Art All Night 2024 at DC Public Library. Bring a Friend, Stay Out Late!

DC Art All Night is back and we can't wait to stay out late with you! This year's Art All Night celebration will take place on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13. Residents can join their favorite artists and local businesses and discover new ones as we come together to celebrate the District of Columbia across all eight wards!

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library is excited to participate in this year’s Art All Night, with The Block Party @ MLK on Saturday, Sept. 13 For the fifth year, the library is bringing you an amazing experience featuring Go-Go music, jazz, art, comedy, a silent disco so much more! The Block Party @ MLK invites you to enjoy ALL that the library and that D.C. has to offer!

Friday, Sept. 12 | Art All Night Celebrations

Mt. Pleasant Library | 5 - 10 p.m.

Join Mt. Pleasant Library staff and Friends to celebrate our artist community in Mount Pleasant AND the library's 100th birthday. Stop by for face painting, cupcake decorating, chalk fun, live music, DJs, tarot, an edible book contest and more!

Join us for an evening of creativity and community. Dance to beats by DJ Wonder, sip and create your mocktails recipes, craft friendship bracelets, sing Karaoke, chat and paint a picture, and explore other hands on activities. Don't miss the magic- part of DC's citywide Art All Night Festival.

This event features visual and performing arts, print and photography, exhibit, games, a dedicated youth kick-back room with virtual activities, painting, mahjong, crafts, local vendors, history and presentation of Kwandi quilt making., body art, food, live music and unique designs and crafts by local artisans, caricatures, boxing and movement demonstrations, workshops, Community Tile Art, and an opportunity for children 2-5 years to enter a drawing to win a free* Ello plush at our Art of Reading Station! Join library staff, Tenleytown Main Street, and their partners as we present, family improv, crafts for children with Red Panda Art Studio, a writing workshop with Writeopia Lab; an acappella Showcase featuring: Singing Capital Chorus, On a Sensual Note, an American University male a cappella ensemble, Pitches Be Trippin’, an American University female a cappella ensemble; and a Community art project with Liz Ashe
