S.T.A.R Breakfast Club

Book cover: Early literacy storytimes @ your library What is the S.T.A.R. Breakfast Club? It is the Sing, Talk and Read program given at the Washington Highlands Interim Library every Saturday morning from 9:30- 11 a.m. until November 27.

Parents and caretakers with preschool children are invited to come. Yes, you may bring your children with you to learn about the six early literacy skills. These skills are the key elements to building a strong literacy foundation for your child. This foundation prepares children to be ready to learn to read by the time they start kindergarten.

The breakfast club is a six-week program, and we have already discussed two skills. I cordially invite you to come and be a part of the next four weeks. Be your child’s brightest star, join the club, and learn more about literacy skills and activities.
