Join us on Monday, September 19, when the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library will be showing the Smithsonian Networks documentary Soul of a People: Writing America's Story. The film is a companion to the book Soul of a People: The WPA Writer's Project Uncovers Depression America by David A. Taylor. Taylor, who was the lead writer and co-producer of the film, will be here at the film screening. The event will be held in the large meeting room at 7 p.m.
And please come to the companion program the next evening, September 20, at the Martin Luther King Memorial Library, where Taylor will be speaking about the book Soul of a People at 7 p.m. in Room 307.
