Black Voices Book Club

Dear Neighbors,

The Black Voices Book Club at the Juanita Thornton/Shepherd Park Neighborhood Library is concluding Black History month at our February 27 meeting at 7 p.m., where we will discuss James Baldwin's novel Go Tell It On The Mountain. This is the 29th novel the club has read. The book club focuses on fiction written by African-American, Caribbean, and African authors.  Books we read are selected by members at our meetings. You are invited to join us. We will meet on the second floor of the library.

Prospective members can join us February 27 or at any time. To learn more about the club and past books we have read, please become our fan on Facebook by searching for "Black Voices Book Club - Juanita E. Thornton/Shepherd Park Library."

Book club members are a diverse, committed and energetic group, which will be only better with your participation. We look forward to seeing you February 27 at 7 p.m.
