Post-Holiday E-Reader Rescue

Get eBooksIf you received an e-reader or tablet for the holidays, we have great news for you — you can download library books on to it for free!

The process can be a little confusing for beginners, so we are setting aside the entire first Saturday of 2013 to walk you through checking out and downloading library e-books and other digital materials, plus to answer any questions you may have about digital library lending.

Stop by anytime on Saturday, Jan. 5 with your library card number and device, plus any passwords associated with your account. For example, if you have a Kindle, make sure you know your Amazon account information, and if you have an iPad, make sure you know your Apple ID. Nook owners should also bring a laptop to download required free software.

We have music too! Come by between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 am for a special demonstration of our DRM-free music downloading service, Freegal.
