Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

Fair Girls LogoDid you know that February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month? To inform teens about the issue and about human trafficking, Teen Space has partnered with Fair Girls to host two workshops. On Feb. 13 and Feb. 20, from 4 p.m. to 5:15 , join us in Teen Space, room 208, for:

Tell Your Friends: Preventing Trafficking & Sexual Abuse of Youth. In this two-part workshop series, teens will learn about their rights and responsibilities in intimate relationships, gain a deeper understanding of sexual violence and exploitation, and get connected to helpful resources.

The workshops will be lead by FAIR Girls, an internationally-recognized nonprofit that prevents the exploitation of girls worldwide with empowerment and education. To learn more about Fair Girls, visit their website.
