Mother Goose will host the Día Story Time

Childern's Librarian as Mother GooseBook Fiesta!Mother Goose will host a story time in celebration of Día: Children's Day/Book Day and Mother Goose Day. Children at Pre-K ages will enjoy listening to Book Fiesta! Celebrate Children’s Book Day by Pat Mora and other read aloud stories.

El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day) is a nationally recognized program of the American Library Association that celebrates children of all backgrounds and promotes literacy, this year’s event will be on May 1.

Mother Goose Day (May 1) was founded in 1987 by Gloria T. Delamar along with the publication of her book, Mother Goose; From Nursery to Literature. The day is now listed in many calendars of events and celebrated throughout the United States. It has been noted by the NEA (National Education Association) and has a particular appeal to Kindergarten-Primary grades, and libraries.
