Singled Out! Book Club Review

Come and Join us Every Fourth Tuesday

Join a Book Club
Note: This month's Singled Out! Book Club is canceled, and future sessions are postponed until further notice.

Two weeks ago, the Singled Out! Book Club took a dive into Junot Diaz’s novel, Drown, during our book club meeting.  We swam and attempted to stay afloat, but nearly sank in the waves as we pieced together the components to this story. It was just your typical group of professionals, emptying their mind of work and responsibilities and sharing their prospective on this novel, which had the capacity to be interpreted in many ways.

Long story short: If you were unable to come to last month’s meeting, you missed out, but it’s never too late to join our book club. Singled Out! meets every fourth Tuesday to discuss the book for the month.  Anyone -- single, married, undecided and young in spirit -- is able to join our club.

May’s book is The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat by Edward Kelsey Moore, which is a New York Times and Amazon book list bestseller and is Goodreads approved. You can pick up the book in the Popular Reading Room. The book is available now and our meeting will be on May 28, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the same location.

If you have any questions, please contact Khendall Beale at See you next time, and remember: Dare to Read Single.
