Can you dig it?

Summer ForestDeep underground, in a dark, dank forest, the children of Washington, D.C. embarked on an epic journey. A summer journey that would hopefully lead them to the attainment of a noble prize. A prize that would bring them glory in the form of fire. This prize would bring them the light of technology even on their darkest days. This prize is... a Kindle Fire.

That's right, if you're a child over 5 and come to the Bellevue Library, you can sign up for our summer reading program. Once you sign up, you can get a prize. Then, once you read 4 hours, you get a prize. TheSummer flower imagen, when you read 8 hours, you get another prize!

Miss Jen at Bellevue challenges you to read as much as you can over the summer so that you get amazing prizes.

The summer reading theme for children is "Dig Into Reading." Come to one of our many summer programs and participate in our theme. We will have lots of books ready for you to take out on many different underground themes!
