Meet our local talented poets. They call themselves Poets on the Fringe. Listen to them read their poems here.  

They will also read from their works at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

They meet every Monday evening at the Stoddert Elementary Recreation Center from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pamela Passaretta started the group in 2007. They read their compositions and make comments that expand and illuminate. Feedback is non-judgmental and reinforces each poem's theme and approach, so all poets can grow and celebrate their gift with the group, and with others if they choose.
