Hip-Hop Don't Stop

Lewis Ford performs for kids at Takoma ParkWe'd like to share with you a rap by third-grader Veronica B., who comes to the Takoma Park Library.

She wrote this rap at a recent hip hop workshop with Lewis Ford and impressed everybody with her skills!

Don't worry if you missed this workshop; you can check out future summer reading hip hop workshops in our calendar.

This ain't right they bombing people in Boston
lockin them up in North Korea from generation to generation
Do you see all this racism they act like they not even their
sons they right behind you, first black president
Man they going crazy, people judging me for my look
it ain't about the look it's about the personality
you never judge people by their look their color or anything
