Free Summer Healthy Meals
The Dorothy I. Height/Benning Neighborhood Library Neighborhood Library is participating in the D.C. Free Summer Meals Program for children 18 and under and for disabled adults. From July 8 through Aug. 16, the library will be providing free lunch Monday to Saturday at 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. No registration, application or ID necessary --- just show up for a healthy meal.
An example of a typical lunch: a turkey sandwich on wheat bread, milk, a pear and a salad.
