Celebrate Your Last Month of Summer with the Library!

Image of Gnome hiding in the libraryThis August at the Bellevue Children’s Room, be sure to come by for great programs, cool books, and a fun new challenge!

We have our August calendars out and are ready for you to come pick one up today. Some of the programs we are excited for you to be a part of are Stories By Hand and Artist Karen Brown. Both promise to be fun for ages 6-12!

Stories by Hand will happen on Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. and Artist Karen Brown will visit Aug. 15 at 3 p.m.

Also, please keep in mind that we will continue our Tuesday movie series in the children’s room and will be having a special movie event on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m. We will be showing Oz The Great and Powerful and snacks will be provided!

In addition, on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 3 p.m., we will be having a Captain Underpants Party Day!

And, if that wasn’t enough…throughout the month of August, we will be having a contest to find our travelling gnome. Many of you may be going on, or have gone on vacations. Just like you, our gnome is ready for a break! Come into the library this month and let the children’s librarian know where you see him to get a prize!

Hint: He’ll be in a different spot every day!

See you soon!
