Type GuideTypography is a key element of graphic design. It’s one of the primary ways we, as a society, pass on information to others. Imagine a website, magazine or even TV without text! Knowing as much as you can about Typography is an important step to becoming a great designer. This class will introduce some of the most common areas of typography that will be essential in something as simple as your resume.

Still wondering: What Is Typography?

From a descriptive and simplistic point-of-view, typography is the arrangement of type. But there is so much more to it than that. If this subject is relatively new to you, or perhaps something you want to know more about, then this class can start you on that journey.

This class is open to all ages and will explore how to manipulate type in various Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
