Banned Books Week

The reasons books are challenged or banned ranges from graphic sexual content to including depictions of "evil gods and black magic." From Harry Potter to Lolita, the list of banned books grows every year. Many of our favorite, most cherished, most canonized titles are on the list.

Teens are invited to join us at Northwest One Library during banned books week to watch movies based on banned books, play games, and win prizes! There will be fun things to do all week, but check our calendar for special events and dates!
