'CATASTROPHE 1914: Europe Goes to War'

Max Hastings BookJoin the Tenley Friendship Library in their partnership with Politics and Prose as we present: CATASTROPHE 1914: Europe Goes to War by Max Hastings.

Max is a British editor and war correspondent who has become the contemporary premiere historian of 20th-century war. He has published more than two dozen books, such as his 2011 masterpiece, Armageddon, which focuses on World War II. 

In this most recent book, he examines the final six months of a single year when the world descended from an idyllic, albeit unstable, age into the chasm of carnage and upheaval that is known as World War I.

This event will take place on the second floor in the Large Conference Room.
