November is National Novel Writing Month!

Our databases are free to anyone with a library card and may aid you with your research. Plus, you can now reserve a study room in advance.
Of course, we also have many books with advice about how to write your own novel, ranging from style manuals like Strunk and White's The Elements of Style to advice about how to improve one's writing. There are materials to help you find a publisher, such as The Writer's Little Helper, as well as writings by well-known authors like Stephen King and Joyce Carol Oates.
We're happy to help you find the materials to craft the next great American novel!
