Woodridge Manga/Anime Club
Woodridge Neighborhood Library is pleased to announce a program targeting manga readers and anime watchers.
Manga is the traditional black-and-white art style of Japanese comics. whereas anime is the adaptation of manga stories into full color animation. The club's goal will be to meet at least twice a month to partake in activities such as manga book talks, anime viewings, genre related games, and other activities as suggested by club members. We also intend to emphasize reading through watching English sub-titled anime and increasing the awareness of DC Public Library manga.
Join us during the final month of Woodridge Library at 1801 Hamlin St. NE before our move to the nearby interim location at 18th & Douglas in January 2014. Also, feel free to browse the popular manga titles below which are available at the Woodridge Library.
