Every Saturday at 11 a.m.
Beginner level yoga class for adults and teens, brought to you by Yoga Activist.  Free, no experience required; bring your own mat if you have one otherwise mats are available for use during class.
AARP Tax Assistance
Every Monday, 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m., and every Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Tax assistance free to taxpayers with low and moderate income with special attention to those 60 and older.

Chess and Scrabble!
Sundays, March 2, March 16 and March 30 at 1:30 p.m.

Every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
One-on-one help for jobseekers including help job searching, formatting resumes and more. 
Afternoon Asanas
Sunday, March 9 and Sunday, March 23 at 3 p.m.
In this program that’s especially tailored to adults 50+, you’ll tone and stretch while practicing yoga using chairs.  Please call 202-243-1187 or stop by to register.

Read smart, well-written popular non-fiction titles with like-minded people.  This month is Cooked by Michael Pollan and copies are available at the library.

Come to our casual conversation group to practice speaking English.  No registration is required but a basic knowledge of English is preferred.
Retro Movie Night
Monday, March 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Watch a movie from a different decade each month.  In March, we’ll be viewing a classic from the 1960s starring Sidney Poitier.

Enjoy puzzles, games and other fun activities that help promote healthy brain functioning, memory improvement, creativity, flexibility in thinking and more. 
Environmental Book Club
Tuesday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Read, learn and discuss the controversial issue of the impact of human activity on our planet.  This month, we’ll be discussing Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.

This workshop will teach you how easy it is to download DC Public Library’s digital materials to your tablet, e-reader, smartphone and more.  Please bring your fully charged device, cords, and library card.
