Monthly Poetry Reading Series - First Thursday at 7:00 PM

book of grassLocal Poets meet at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library to read from their works.  Featured poets for June are DANIAL ORANGE and MARY SESSO. 


From haiku to him-hop, Danial Orange playfully mixes genres to explore themes such as love, art, spirituality, and social justice.  He has twice been featured on WRTR ( Real Talk Radio) and recently performed at the Play-Diem Festival in New York's Central Park

Mary Sesso lives  with her dog, Beau, in Kensington, Maryland.  She's a retired nurse who volunteers at the National  Children's Center and recently received their Volunteer of the Year Award. She has poems in Comstock Review, Sow's Ear, Ship of Fools, and Write On!
