Part-Time Jobs for Teens at the Library

Teens of Distinction application due Friday, Sept. 12

library workerThe DC Public Library's Teens of Distinction program is looking for 16- to 19-year-olds who would like to work in the library. Teens are paid $10.51 per hour and will work 12 hours per week. Find more details on the program here.

To apply, teens must fill out an application and provide a resume, transcript, and recommendation forms. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or above. All applications are due by Friday, Sept. 12 at the Human Resources Office at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library

If you're too young for the program, or can't commit to working 12 hours a week, consider becoming a teen volunteer at Francis Gregory Library. Teen volunteer hours at Francis Gregory Library are 3-5 p.m. every other Sunday beginning Sept. 14.
