The Georgetown Neighborhood Library continues to present established and emerging local poets in our monthly poetry reading series held on the first Thursday of every month.  We are proud to bring you Pamela Murray Winters and Nancy Naomi Carlson on Thursday August 7, 2014 at 7 p.m.

Pamela Murray WInters

Pamela Murray Winters
 is pursing an MFA in poetry at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.  Her poems have been published in Gargoyle, Gettysburg Review, Beltway Poetry, and elsewhere.  She hosts the Evil Grin Poetry Series in Annapolis, Maryland.

Nancy Naomi Carlson


Nancy Naomi Carlson is a winner of grants from the NEA, Maryland Arts Council, and Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.   She is the author of three prize-winning titles, as well as the critically acclaimed Stone Lyre: Poems of Rene Char.  She is an associate editor for Tupelo Press.
