Kid's Freedom to Read

Drop by the Children's Room on the second floor for Banned Books Week (September 21-27) and discover how some great and memorable reads were denied to others.  Take home a commemorative craft kit, submit your answer to the name of the banned book in the jar at the Children's Room desk, and browse the display areas for something special.  The Monday Preschool story time (10:30 a.m.), children's Monday afternoon crafts (4 p.m.) and Tuesday movies (3:30 p.m.) will also feature a banned book.
