Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel published in 1953. It is regarded as one of Bradbury's best works and has become a must read classic. The novel presents a future American society where books are outlawed and "firemen" burn any that are found. Throughout the book's history, the book has received several challenges and it or parts of the book have been censored for its profanity and going against objectors religious beliefs.

The Young Prose Book Meetup is a casual and friendly book Meetup for young professionals in DC between the ages of 21 and 35 who like discussing books and drinking beer! We usually meet on the last Wednesday evening of each month at Kitty O'Sheas DC in Tenleytown. Please RSVP to victor.benitez@dc.gov or visit http://www.meetup.com/youngprose.
