Top Summer Reading Prizes Awarded
Ages 0-5 and 6-12
This summer, DC Public Library hosted a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math)-themed reading program for all ages from June 1 to Aug. 31.
To cap off our summer of reading, we held drawings for readers 12 and younger who had completed timed reading or activity requirements. Our winners for Fizz, Boom, Read! are:
Adrian, ages 0 to 5, Basket of Books
Adrian wants to be a scientist, and loves coloring, the color purple, baseball, and coming to the library to read.
He enjoyed the tall tale, Thunder Rose, by Jerdine Nolen and thinks the main character looks like his aunt.
Way to go, Adrian!
