Martina the Beautiful Cockroach: A Cuban Folktaleretold by Carmen Agra Deedy and illustrated by Michael Austin, is the featured piece.

In this humorous retelling of a Cuban folktale, a cockroach interviews her suitors in order to decide whom to marry.
