Oral History Project 16

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 1993 Jeff Koenreich conducted 4 oral history interviews for the D.C. Public Library Oral History Project and the Northern Shaw Striver Historic Survey.

SCOPE AND CONTENT
This oral history collection occupies approximately 1 linear foot.  The Shaw neighborhood is the area around 14th and U Streets NW.  Topics include history of the interviewees’ role in the neighborhood during their youth, parents, segregation, community services, and other observations made during childhood.  The inventory below outlines the library’s holdings for each oral history interview.

RESTRICTIONS
As no release forms were found, it is not clear who holds copyright for this collection.  At this time it is believed that the D.C. Public Library does not hold copyright for the collection.  It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain permission from the interviewees and interviewer to publish or exhibit information. Reproduction of an oral history without a release is not permitted.
