November is National Novel Writing Month
November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, and the Lamond-Riggs Neighborhood Library wants to help you start and complete up to the first 50,000 words of your new novel. Come alone, or come with a goroup of friends who also wish to dedicate time to the pursuit of writing a novel. Meet up with other acomplished and aspiring writers in the perfect setting for inspiration - your local public library!
To participate in the NaNoWrimo event, visit the Lamond-Riggs Neighborhood Library every Tuesday and Wednesday evening in November, from 7 p.m. to 8:50 p.m. Alert library staff at the Information Desk that you wish to participate in the novel writing activity. Attendance at every session is not required; you may drop-in on any or all sessions.
- A quiet dedicated place for writers to focus and work on writing a novel.
- Up to two laptops for use by NaNoWriMo-ers
- Blank paper, dictionaries, thesauri, pens and pencils.
- Numerous other resources you might wish to refer to for for background information, and more.
