Etegami with Alison Labonte and The Creative Class

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, 7 p.m.

Etegami postcards are a traditional Japanese folk art.

Come learn about etegami -- "picture letters" --
which combines watercolor, sumi ink, and words on postcards,
and then make your own etegami.

Communicate in a unique, fun way with friends and family.

The Creative Class is a series of workshops for adults at DC Public Library through which participants create handmade projects using materials in our collection as inspiration. For more information about The Creative Class, click here.
