The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund

Preserving a Legacy of Service

Officials from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund will join us Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., to speak on ceremonies and programs of the Fund, including the Faces Never Forgotten program, and on care of the memorial site (The Wall) and on the legacy of service of Vietnam veterans, in observance of Veterans Day (Nov. 11).

Founded in 1979 by Vietnam veteran Jan C. Scruggs, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is the nonprofit organization that built the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, now one of the most visited memorials in Washington, DC, in 1982.

Today the Fund assists the National Parks Service in maintaining the site of the Memorial. In addition, the Fund continues to preserve the legacy of The Wall, promote healing, and educate about the impact of the Vietnam War through numerous programs and initiatives.
