Naruto's Swan Song

Manga and Anime Club Events at DC Public Library

It’s the end of an era in the world of Japanese comics, or manga.

Naruto, the manga series about a spunky boy ninja who wants to be Hokage, will be ending in just a few short days. Naruto is written by Masashi Kishimoto, and it was first published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine back in 1999. Along with the manga series Bleach, One Piece, and many others, Naruto is arguably one of the shonen manga that have defined Japanese comics for a generation.

Many other series, such as Attack on Titan or another series, may replace Naruto, but only time will tell who comes out on top in the end.
To celebrate the end of this long-running series, why not attend a manga or anime club at your nearest DC Public Library location?  DC Public Library has these programs at various libraries all over the city, including the new Manga Madness program at Tenley Library. All of them act as a place for fans of manga and anime to get together and talk about what they love.

We hope to see you there!
