Winterfest at the Library

Tenley is starting off the holiday season with music, fun, and...yetis?

Shhh! Do you hear that sound? It’s the sound of… yeti feet! And they're headed towards the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library!

The library is excited to be a part of this year’s Tenleytown Winterfest. During the week of Nov. 28 - Dec. 6, see if you can’t find a yeti hiding in our stacks. And don’t forget to leave a picture for our Yeti Board in the children's programming room!

On Thursday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m.we will be showing a holiday film favorite about a man who is raised by Santa's elves and has to journey to New York City to find his real family. This program is for ages 11 - 19 and outside food and drink are welcome.

On Saturday, Dec. 6 starting at 10:30 a.m., the whole family is invited for a winter-themed story time and a holiday carol sing-a-long lead by Ms. Joanna and her blue ukulele. Jingle bells and drums made from recycled materials will be provided!

Come get into the winter holiday spirit by coming out for Winterfest! For information about other Winterfest events happening around town, check out the offical Tenley Winterfest event page.
