A Group Reading of 'Twelfth Night'

Celebrate the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 6 with a group reading of the first three acts of William Shakespeare's classic romantic comedy Twelfth Night, the title of which refers to traditional ongoing Christmas fesitivities. The reading will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., and all are invited to participate as readers!

A celebration of love and mischief, the play follows the romantic upset begun when a shipwreck brings heroine Viola to the kingdom of Illyria. To survive, she disguises herself as a man, Cesario, and goes to work for nobleman Orsino, who loves Lady Olivia even though she does not share his feelings.

Soon, though, the disguised Viola has fallen for Orsino, while Lady Olivia develops feelings for Cesario—all against the backdrop of additional romantic antics among members of Lady Olivia’s household.

Join us as we make merry by bringing this mirthful story to life!
