Book Sale, Craft Fair and Author Talk
If you're looking for gifts, come to Petworth neighborhood on Saturday, Dec. 13.
Petworth Library will be having its Winter Book Sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Petworth Library. The sale will be in the lower level meeting room from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
After loading up on books, head to the ninth annual Upshur Street Handmade Art and Craft Fair. The Craft Fair is just down the street from the Petworth Library, on the 800-1200 block of Upshur Street. The craft fair will last from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
For a personalized gift, come see local author Linda Crichlow White talk about her book Back There, Then: A Historical Geneological Memoir. After the talk, there will be copies of the book for sale and a book signing. The author talk will begin at 2 p.m. at Petworth Library.
