The Winter Reading Program
Dec. 21 - Jan. 3
Children in grades K-8 can earn prizes for reading books or articles during Winter Break. To participate, children need to pick up an entry form from the Children's Room, on the second floor, write down any books or article read during Winter Break, and return the form to the library to collect a Chipotle kid's meal (grades K-5) or a Chipotle burrito (grades 6-8).
Vistors to the children's room can also look forward to the following during Winter Break:
1 p.m.
Enjoy a winter feature film based on a popular children's book with a related crafts.
1 p.m.
Learn about the origins and practice of this winter festival and create a keepsake of the event.
Story times will continue Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.; crafts, Tuesdays at 5 p.m.; and board or card games upon request, during library hours.
