Winter Break Reading Rewarded With Chipotle

In Sunday’s Washington Post, the Library’s Winter Reading Program was included in a list of educational tips for what students can do during the winter break.

The DC Public Library Foundation is partnering with Chipotle to give coupons for burritos or kid’s meals to students who read over the winter break. The program is open to children in Kindergarten through eighth grade.

Elementary school students who read two books or articles will receive a kids meal coupon.  f they read two more books or articles, and write a review on one of the books/articles, they can receive an additional meal coupon.

Middle school students who read one book or article will receive a burrito coupon. If they read two more books or articles, and write a review of one of those articles, they can receive an additional coupon.

The coupons are available through Jan. 3 at all DC Public Library locations.
