Northeast Neighborhood Library Recognized for Renovation

Wins an Award from DC Chapter of AIA

The Northeast Neighborhood Library has been given an Award of Merit in Historic Resources by the DC Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture. The jurors for the award cited the careful attention to historic details in the renovation, as well as the creative repurposing of space for the public. We are so pleased that our beautiful renovation has been recognized not quite a year after reopening to the public on Feb. 3, 2014.  Customers are still rediscovering the new space and find the library to be beautiful, light, and spacious, conducive to both quiet study and large meetings.
