A family program to wrap up Black History Month

Come join us on Sunday, March 1 from 2-4 p.m. for the Kente Cloth Workshop hosted by the Anacostia Library and Master Weaver Andrew Kwasi Asare from Accra, Ghana.

Asare is a Master Weaver of exciting and exquisite Kente cloth that blends mathematics, symbols, color, culture and art designs. 

Master Asare uses weaving demonstrations, exhibitions and interactive workshops to share this great cultural tradition of Ghana with audiences ages 8 and older.
