History/Biography Book Club

A new book club at Cleveland Park

The Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library is getting a new book club!

Well, not new, actually - it's been around for almost 10 years. It's the History/Biography Book Club. It began at the Martin Luther King Library in 2005, moved to the Tenley-Friendship Neighborhood Library in 2011, and is now coming to Cleveland Park.

It meets the fourth Monday of every month but December.

The first meeting at Cleveland Park will be on Monday, May 18 (due to the Memorial Day holiday) at 7 p.m., when the group will be discussing How We Got to Now: Six Innovations That Made the Modern World by Steven Johnson.

Stop by the library to pick up a copy. In addition, to welcome the book club to its new location, the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library is featuring a display of favorite selections from past years.
