Celebrate Black Music Month and Prince's birthday!

Come join us on June 22 at 6 p.n. in the Black Studies Center for a showing of the groundbreaking 1984 film Purple Rain.

With an award-winning soundtrack and dynamic performances by Prince and the Revolution, this film continues to amaze, 30 years later. The semi-autobiographical plot follows the journey of a young musician facing the challenges of a dysfunctional family, dissatisfied band, and rocky romance, while he discovers his musical voice and his star begins to rise.
