Author Don Fulsom to speak on new book
Don Fulsom will speak on Treason: Nixon and the 1968 Election (Pelican Publishing, 2015) on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. A former White House correspondent and Washington bureau chief of United Press International, Fulsom covered the Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Regan and Clinton presidencies. He has written for The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, and many other publications. He is the author of Nixon's Darkest Secrets: The Inside Story of America's Most Troubled President (Thomas Dunne Books, 2012).
The setting for the talk is the West End Library's interim location at the Watergate where the famous break-in took place in the 1970s, resulting in the political scandal that brought Nixon to resign from the presidency on August 9, 1974. Please join us!
