'Cane' by Jean Toomer
Do you enjoy reading about hometown Washington, D.C.? The Cleveland Park Library hosts a local book discussion series!
In September we will be discussing Cane by Jean Toomer. Originally published in 1923, the book is based on Toomer's experiences as a teacher in rural Georgia. It remains an important work of the Harlem Renaissance.
We will meet in the first floor meeting room at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Copies are available from the library system.
