A Sweet Start to National Library Sign-up Month!
Join the library at Baked & Wired on September 2
September is National Library Card Sign-up Month, and the Georgetown Neighborhood Library is kicking it off with a special expanded visit to Baked & Wired (1052 Thomas Jefferson St. NW)!
All summer, the library has been dropping by the locally owned coffee shop and bakery with Library Takeout, and the September 2 trip will provide another opportunity to enjoy the mobile library service -- and more!
As we sign up customers for library cards and check out materials on-site, we also will be demoing the new DC Public Library app and showing off the ever-growing collection of digital library resources -- and there will be free samples courtesy of Baked & Wired!
So join us there anytime from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and satisfy your literary longings alongside your caffeine cravings and sweet needs.
